Return Policy
Streetsmart Design, Inc. will gladly process returns under the following guidelines:
Items that are not manufactured by Streetsmart
Design, Inc. (e.g. Gibson Exhaust, Superchips, etc.) and are unused or determined to be defective, may be returned within 30 days
from the date of purchase for a full refund minus the cost of shipping.
Items that ARE manufactured by Streetsmart Design, Inc. (i.e.
Cold Air Intakes) may be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase for a full refund to include shipping if the part is defective
in fit, finish or function for the specified application. Items that are returned for any other reason will receive a full refund
minus the cost of shipping.
Items that are ordered incorrectly by the customer (e.g. ordered for a 4.0 L SOHC when a 4.0 L OHV is what
is needed) can be swapped out. Shipping charges will be applied but NO restocking fees will be assessed.
A 15% restocking fee will
be assessed upon return if a part is ordered for a non-specified application by the customer. Example 1: Application calls out Ford
Ranger and an attempt is made to install the product on a Ford Explorer.
Items with FREE SHIPPING which are returned for refund will
be assessed a NON-REFUNDABLE handling fee which will be equal to the initial cost of shipping the item.
The customer is responsible
for all freight charges incurred with a return or exchange unless otherwise arranged by Streetsmart Design, Inc.
You must call Streetsmart
Design, Inc. and have a Sales Representative approve your return prior to shipping the product back to Streetsmart Design, Inc. The
Sales Representative will issue you a RA number which must be included with your return.
RA numbers expire 30 days after they are issued.
Items returned without an RA number or using an expired RA number will be refused.
All Returns must be shipped to: Streetsmart Design,
Inc., 54254 Ego Drive, Macomb, MI 48042 and have the RA number clearly displayed on the outside of the package.
Merchandise shipped
from Streetsmart Design, Inc. to our customers is always complete, properly packaged, and insured. It is the customer's responsibility
to see to it that any item returned to Streetsmart Design, Inc. is insured to protect the customer from loss. Any damage, loss, or
missing claims must be made with the carrier. Unauthorized customer returns, or returns that are mis-shipped, mis-packaged, or mis-delivered,
will not be 'tracked down' and are not the responsibility of Streetsmart Design, Inc.
Privacy Policy
When you make a purchase, we ask for your name, address, phone number, e-mail address and other information necessary to fulfill your
order properly. For purposes of billing, you will need to provide your credit card type, number, expiration date and billing address
for the card. If your order is to be shipped, we also need the name, address and phone number of the intended recipient(s).
All information
collected by Streetsmart Design, Inc. stays with Streetsmart Design, Inc. We do not rent, sell, reuse, disclose, share or exchange
your name or collected information with any third-party companies for any purpose.
Shipping Policy
All in stock merchandise that does not require custom software ships within 48 hours by Federal Express (FEDEX) ground unless other
arrangements are made at the time of order. Customers will be notified of items on backorder or items that will ship directly from
the manufacuterer (as a result of backorder) at the time of order placement. All items shipped FEDEX ground by Streetsmart Design,
Inc. will be assigned a tracking number which will be provided to the customer upon request.
Merchandise which requires custom software
programming (e.g. Diablosportchip) will be shipped as soon as programming is complete. This time generally does not exceed 5 business
days. General guidlines for custom programming shipping are as follows:
Diablosport Products: 48 hours
NON U.S. ORDERS: As of December
26, 2004 an additional freight charge may be added to cover export duties and/or additional shipping charges incurred for orders shipped
outside the continental United States. Additional charges will be added to the order on a dollar for dollar basis as incurred by Streetsmart
Design, Inc. from the shipping agency or appropriate international customs agencies. Customers that will incur additional charges
will be contacted by Streetsmart Design, Inc. prior to order shipment for approval of the additional charges. Refusal of the additional
charges will result in an cancellation of order which will be refunded in full.
Any defective Streetsmart Design manufactured item properly returned by the original purchaser to Streetsmart Design will be replaced
by Streetsmart Design for as long as it is in use by the original purchaser. Streetsmart Design will not be responsible for any other
expenses incurred by the customer under the terms of this warranty, nor shall it be responsible for any damages either consequential,
special, contingent, or otherwise; or expenses or injury arising directly or indirectly from the use of any Streetsmart Design manufactured
item. Any Streetsmart Design item returned to Streetsmart Design must be sent by the original purchaser along with proof of purchase.
Streetsmart
Design is not liable nor responsible for any damages either consequential, special, contingent, or otherwise; or expenses or injury
arising directly or indirectly from the use of any Streetsmart Design distributed item (e.g. Pro-M, K&N, Superchip, etc.). Please
contact the specific manufacturer directly for questions related to warranty claims or liability claims for use of their associated
products.
